Pallaku festivalPallaku festival is a traditional festival being celebrated in Hosur since past 600 years.

On the day of Pallaku festival, the gods of all temples in Hosur and surrounding areas are being taken in decorated Palanquins around the town.

The Pallaku festival comes ahead of Sri Chandra Chudeswarar car festival ever year in Hosur.

Lakhs of people from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh visit Hosur to participate in Pallaku festival followed by Chandra Chudeswarar car festival celebrations every year.Pallaku festival

The Gods carried in Palanquin around the town overnight during the festival for dharshan of people in the region.

The Gods – Sidhi Vinayagar, Sri Bandaajaneyar, Sri Chandra Chudeswarar, Kottai Mariamman, Sri Someswarar, Kodandaramaswamy, Muthu Mariamman, Ellamma, Murugar, Venkataramana Swamy, Sri Krishnar and many other gods used to be carried in Palanquins.
