Krishnagiri district schools reopened, safety measures stressed

The schools opened for the students studying from 9th to 12th standard.

Krishnagiri district schoolsThe schools in Krishnagiri district reopened on September 1 in line with the order by the government to open schools across the state.  The schools were reopened for the students from 9th to 12th standard. 

According to the information available with the district administration, of the total 4335 teachers for 9th to 12 standard classes, 98 percent of 4219 teachers were vaccinated. Only 166 teachers were not vaccinated due to various other illnesses.

Safety Measures

Only 20 students with proper social distance and mask are allowed per class. The schools will have six working days and 10 th and 12 th  standard students will have classes for all six days. The schools that have space shortage will have classes on rotation basis.

All teaching and non-teaching staffs should have administered with Covid vaccination and related certificate should be submitted to the respective school headmasters.
