Krishnagiri Lok Sabha MP Dr A Chellakumar raised his voice in Parliament to construct a railway underpass bridge in Kelamangalam near Hosur.
The Krishnagiri MP urged the government to construct the underpass bridge near Periyanagadonai village close to Kelamangalam. He said LG Gate No.87 was in existence 27 years ago. Several villagers including school students residing in Kelamangalam, Nagamangalam, Koverikunta, Chinnanagadonai, and Periyanagadonai crossing this railwayline every day. To avoid accidents, he said the underpass bridge in this area should be constructed.
Widening work at Ullatti
Mr Chellakumar has said the existing underpass bridge near Ullatti village at Thimjepalli panchayat in Kelamangalam union is a narrow one. The heavy transport vehicles like buses and trucks are finding it difficult to pass through this bridge. Hence, he demanded to widen this underpass.
