Here’s three easy DIY from your kitchen to keep your skin healthy and shining.

With Grains

Oats are generally considered as a suitable ingredient for sensitive, sensitized or irritated skin. Its oatmeal nourishes, soothes, moisturizes, and gently exfoliates the skin absorbing excess dirt and oil.

You can prepare this recipe in the following method. Sieve three fourth oat flour and quarter cup rose petal powder. Then you have to mix it with an half a cup of white kaolin cosmetic clay and a quarter cup of powdered milk. Later store it in an airtight bowl or container. Now take one tablespoon of the powder and mix with water to make a paste. Now gently cleanse your face utilizing the paste in small circular motions and then slowly rinse your face with warm water. Follow with toner and moisturizer.

Aloe Vera paste

Aloe Vera is one of the herbs that is mostly used in ayurvedic and allopathic skin care products.

Age spots, pigmentation marks, pimple marks, injury marks or burns can be treated easily by using this aloe vera face pack.

You can prepare a paste with aloe Vera extract and rose water. Apply it smoothly on your face. Keep it on your face for around 20 minutes. Later, using cold water you can rinse your face. In another way, one can slowly massage the face pack for 2 to 3 minutes onto the face before rinsing it off as to cleanse your pores. Repeat this process up to three times a week. It is suitable for all types of skin.

Turmeric plus Aloe Vera

No doubt, Turmeric comes first in preparing any beauty products related to skin care. Even today, ladies in traditional houses in rural India use raw turmeric powder on their faces while taking bath.

For both female and male who want radiant and glowing skin, turmeric is your ideal option. It brightens up your skin complexion and evens out the skin tone. Also the turmeric contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds that helps to treat any existing skin issue.

Take one pinch of turmeric and mix it with one tablespoon of aloe vera gel as well as one teaspoon of honey and few drops of rose water. Apply the paste smoothly and evenly on your face and neck, and allow it on your face and neck for around 20 minutes. Wash the pack with lukewarm water and pat dry with a towel. It is advisable to do the practice twice a week.
