Hosur, August 6;- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr. M.K.Stalin who visited Krishnagirid district on August 5 has not only inaugurated the ‘doorstep healthcare scheme’ christened ‘Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam’ but also launched a major vaccination drive by the industrial units in the district, Hosur in particular.
Under this programme, various companies in Hosur will cover their one lakh employees under Covid vaccination.
The Chief Minister has inaugurated programme was kickstarted in the playground of Hosur Boys Higher Secondary School with the monitoration of Hosur MLA Mr Y.Prakash and Ex-MLA Mr.S.A.Sathya
Industrial Units
The companies that joined the vaccination bandwagon includes Caterpillar, Tata, Ola, Minda, Luminous Power Technology, TVS, Mylon, Exide, First Step and Neelkamal among others.
These corporate companies are carrying out the vaccination drive under their Corporate Social Responsibly (CSR) activities.
A major part of Hosur is housed with factory population. With these CSR activities by the corporate firms, major population of Hosur will be covered under vaccine.
