Devotees performed poojas at their houses for well decorated Kalasa with Varamahalakshmi.
Varamahalakshmi viratam is a festival to propitiate the goddess Lakshmi. It is considered that praying on this day is equivalent to worshipping Ashtalakshmi and will be blessed with Dhanya, Aayush, Aarogya, Aishwarya, Santana and Soubhagya.
Varamahalakshmi Viratam is one of the most important Hindu festivals in South India. This festival marks the beginning of the spree of Hindu festivals in India. It is a highly regarded festival by the people, especially women of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
