Hosur government hospitalTamil Nadu government is upgrading Hosur government hospital as district headquarters hospital.

As per the guidelines from the government, the concerned department has submitted necessary proposals to create additional infrastructure and medical facilities, the sources said.

The government’s move in this direction has been welcomed by the public in Hosur industrial town in general.

It may be noted that the state Health Minister Ma Subramaniam has visited Hosur and surrounding backward areas many times since the DMK party has formed government in the state. He has travelled to many rural areas including hilly regions around Hosur and witnessed the necessity of upgrading the government hospital in Hosur.

It may be noted that, the Tamil Nadu government has also inaugurated two Oxygen Generator Plants at Government Hospital in Hosur industrial town two months ago.

During his visits, the people in general and many housing welfare associations have met the Minister and explained about the necessity of upgradation in Hosur GH.

The people highlighted about the inadequate facilities in the GH like lack of MRI facility and Cardiology, Orthopedic specialists etc.

In addition to public representations and his personal inspections in many areas, the Minister took the ground realty to the notice of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minster, who inturn has issued orders to upgrade Hosur government hospital, sources added.
