Silambam players from Hosur industrial town made a mark in national level Silambam tournament by bagging a handful of gold medals.
National Silambam competition has been held in Goa on November 29. More than 2,000 players from across the country including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh were participated in the competition.

The players from Arasan Silambam Academy in Hosur also participated in the competition. Of them 9 persons won gold medal while the one contestant bagged silver medal.
The sports personalities and enthusiasts in Hosur are lauding the contestants who won medals in the national Silambam competition. The winners will be participating in the international Silambam tournament.
